Description: This Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest webinar will share research on the Networked Improvement Community (NIC) model and show how educators can form NICs to improve student learning outcomes, particularly as they address student learning needs this fall. An improvement science expert will present the components of the NIC model and discuss how practitioners can conduct continuous improvement cycles to develop, test, and refine interventions to address a common problem of practice. REL Midwest researchers then will show how REL Midwest applied the NIC model in Minnesota and share resources on NICs and improvement science methods. The webinar will connect research to practice with a panel discussion featuring the expert presenters and two participants from the Minnesota virtual NIC.

Partnership or Research Alliance: Midwest Career Readiness Research Alliance (MCRRA)

Audience: This webinar is designed for district administrators, school leaders, teachers, and other practitioners involved in a school or district’s continuous improvement efforts.
