Description: This is the second in a three-webinar series. Each webinar in the series extends and deepens knowledge on the topic of trauma-informed practices in educational settings. Specifically, as a result of participation in this webinar, participants will:

  • Increase their understanding of positive youth development (frameworks and approaches, theoretically);
  • Engage in identifying meaningful ways in which youth and young adults can participate and lead school
  • climate and wellness services and systems; and
  • Address specific challenges with youth engagement that youth-serving educators may face; and
  • Identify appropriate environments that will be inviting to youth and young adults and that will draw them to come and participate with service organizations.

Research Alliance: School Climate Alliance

Audience: This seminar is for the 10 districts and 23 schools in the School Climate Alliance. REL West will invite the district staff, administrators from each school, and school climate team members. Other educators nationally will also be invited.
