Description: Today, the high cost of college is forcing many students to leave school with mountains of debt—and no degree. Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab, a national scholar on college access and affordability, will address this issue in a livestreamed presentation at a REL Northwest event on November 1. Goldrick-Rab, who founded the Wisconsin HOPE Lab (the nation’s only translational research laboratory seeking ways to make college more affordable), will also explore possible solutions to support college access and completion for low-income students.
