REL Southeast Event: Using Evidence-Based Practices and Data to Inform Developmental Education in the Institutional Context of Historically Black Colleges and Universities

Description: In this training participants will review evidence-based practices used to support developmental education students, with a particular focus on placement, supports, and ongoing planning. Participants will discuss evidence-based practices, reflect on those practices, and discuss considerations for incorporating relevant practices into the on-going planning, development and implementation of their institutional programs. Participants will also gain additional insight and context for the institutional data used to support the planning, development, and implementation of systems (including advising systems) to place and support students in developmental education programs, and programs broadly.
