Description: The goals of the project are (1) to assist the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) with assessing its current set of college and career readiness (CCR) indicators with respect to their alignment with a nationally recognized CCR framework, (2) to assist ADE staff in identifying areas where additional CCR indicators are warranted, and (3) to help ADE think through the implications of the ways in which they communicate its CCR goals to the field using the ADE CCR indicators.
Through three training sessions, REL Southwest will guide ADE in assessing the alignment of its CCR indicators in reflecting the employability skills needed for college and career readiness and how this may inform enhancement of and communication about those indicators in ADE’s accountability system.
Research Alliance: Southwest College and Career Readiness (SWCCR) Research Partnership
