Description: College and Career Readiness and Success Partnership members in Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) have requested REL Pacific support as they work to design, pilot, evaluate, iterate, and implement at scale a high school math course that will help more students be ready to succeed in college-level math courses at the local community colleges in each jurisdiction. This training session will focus on how to apply improvement science principles to designing a mathematics transition course in the FSM, how to understand pathways students take from high school to college, and will establish the schedule, processes, and norms for continuing this effort throughout the year.

Audience: The audience for this training is members of the Pohnpei Partnership for College and Career Readiness and Success, which includes educators and administrators from the Pohnpei State Department of Education and the College of Micronesia-FSM.
