Time: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Pohnpei Time Zone

Location: Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia

Description: College and Career Readiness and Success Partnership members in Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) have requested REL Pacific support as they work to design, pilot, evaluate, iterate, and implement at scale a high school math course that will help more students be ready to succeed in college-level math courses at the local community colleges in each jurisdiction. This training session will focus on how to apply improvement science principles to designing a mathematics transition course in the FSM, how to understand pathways students take from high school to college, and will establish the schedule, processes, and norms for continuing this effort throughout the year.
