Description: Join us on October 25 for a webinar about the research on promising strategies for reducing chronic absenteeism. The presenters will discuss why chronic absenteeism matters, what the research says about the state of chronic absenteeism, and summarize the evidence about approaches to reducing chronic absenteeism. A speaker from the Pennsylvania Department of Education will speak about the importance of monitoring chronic absenteeism and why it’s a priority for the state.

Audience: This workshop is aimed at state education agency staff, local education agency staff, school counselors, and attendance officers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
