Description: Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) are partnering to offer the KIDS Data Use train-the-trainer workshop to build the capacity of Regional Offices of Education (ROE) staff, teacher leaders, administrators, and Kindergarten Individual Data Survey (KIDS) Coaches to facilitate the KIDS Data Use workshop in districts across the state. The train-the-trainer workshop is designed to (1) familiarize the trainers with the KIDS Data Use workshop materials; (2) enhance trainers’ facilitation skills; and (3) provide an opportunity for trainers to practice facilitation of the KIDS Data Use workshop. This training is intended to increase the number of trainings available to kindergarten teachers across the state so that they can learn to use their KIDS data to enhance their professional practice.
