Description: This event will focus broadly on REL Pacific’s studies across the Pacific region, highlighting how differences in context, resources, and preparedness levels influence work in areas such as the transition from high school to community college and conversations about placement exams and developmental courses. Presenters will provide a brief overview of recent REL Pacific work within the region and will discuss how we adhere to the rigorous standards required by the Institute of Education Sciences for the work we undertake, while being aware and respectful of the numerous and nuanced political, cultural, and racial issues at play within the Pacific region service area.
