Description: This is the third of three training sessions that REL Mid-Atlantic is conducting for the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) with the goal of increasing staff’s knowledge of educator evaluation systems and supporting them in applying that information to make informed decisions about their educator evaluation system. The training sessions aim to help MSDE as it updates its regulations on educator evaluation. In the third session, the REL will present to MSDE’s working group, composed of district staff and other stakeholders, that is tasked with helping MSDE update its regulations on educator evaluation.
