REL Southeast Event: Making Connections in Algebra

Description: REL Southeast will provide this in-person training to model math lessons focused on Recommendation 2 of the IES/WWC practice guide entitled, Teaching Strategies for Improving Algebra Knowledge in Middle and High School Students. This session has two objectives: (1) to enhance teacher knowledge in planning lessons that will utilize the structure of algebraic representations in making and graphing linear inequalities, and (2) to support teacher identification of and suggested approaches to potential roadblocks for the implementation of similar lessons with students.

Partnership or Research Alliance: St. Johns County School District

Audience: St. Johns County School District teachers, principals, coaches, and district office personnel.
