Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MST
Location: Boise, Idaho
Description: Idaho’s Treasure Valley Education Partnership works to ensure that at least 80 percent of Treasure Valley students go on to some form of education beyond high school and enter the career of their choice. At this event, REL Northwest will provide an overview of what’s happening nationally in career and technical education, work-based learning, and career readiness (including the reauthorization of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act); facilitate a landscape analysis of what’s happening in these areas in the Treasure Valley; and facilitate action planning. Participants will learn about design-based implementation research, and they will practice applying the methodology to their collective work.
Partnership or Research Alliance: This is a non-partnership activity.
Audience: Stakeholders who are interested in or working to strengthen opportunities for Idaho youth to prepare for life beyond high school
