Description: This workshop is an opportunity for secondary and postsecondary practitioners to discuss strategies that can help students transition smoothly from high school to postsecondary education and training programs. Participants will learn about evidence-based practices and build awareness of the supports that educators and other professionals can provide students in the region during this important transition.

This is the second in-person workshop in the Building Bridges to College and Career series on the use of evidence-based interventions that improve transition to postsecondary education and training programs. Participation in prior workshops is not a prerequisite for this event.

Partnership or Research Alliance: Kentucky Rural College and Career Readiness partnership

Audience: This workshop is intended for secondary and postsecondary practitioners in high schools, career and technical education programs, and postsecondary institutions in Eastern Kentucky, including but not limited to school and district staff and college and career counselors.
