REL Midwest Event: Supporting Equity and Social and Emotional Learning

Description: This webinar will showcase how practitioners can implement SEL practices that are equitable to support students’ social and emotional development. Presenters will discuss research on SEL, equity, and the interconnections between the two topics. Presenters also will share SEL strategies that districts and schools can use to promote equity. A school- or district-level practitioner will share firsthand experience using SEL and equity practices to support students.

Audience: The primary audience for this webinar will include principals, instructional coaches, teachers, guidance counselors, district administrators whose work involves SEL and/or equity, state-level administrators whose work involves SEL and/or equity, and researchers.
