REL Mid-Atlantic Event: Workshop to Develop Strategic Plan on Teacher Attrition

Description: The project will help LEAs understand the causes of teacher attrition and design policies and practices to improve teacher retention. The workshop will provide participants with (1) evidence about ways to improve teacher retention and (2) support to develop strategies to implement change.

Partnership or Research Alliance: Training and Supporting Excellent Educators

Audience: Participants will include representatives from the District of Columbia (DC) State Board of Education, Propel Schools (Pennsylvania), Red Clay Consolidated School District (Delaware), and Prince George’s County Public Schools (Maryland). Each entity will identify approximately one to three representatives to attend.
