October 14, 2019

Time: 4:15 p.m. Mountain Time

Location: This presentation is part of the 2019 National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah

Description: About one in four high school students in Oregon participates in concurrent enrollment programs. Practitioners working together with state education agencies and researchers have established a productive collaboration in Oregon aimed at student-centered continuous improvement. In this session, presenters will describe efforts to align concurrent enrollment state investments, policies, and research. Session participants will learn how partnerships in Oregon are supported through localized research reports, local peer review opportunities, and the statewide coordinator network. Researcher, state education agency, and practitioner perspectives will be shared.

Audience: The intended audience includes high school and district administrators, college and university program staff, and state education agency staff; but all conference participants are encouraged to attend.

Speakers: Michelle Hodara, REL Northwest
Eric Juenemann and Erin Weeks-Earp, Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission
