Location: This presentation is part of the Alaska Principals’ Conference in Anchorage, Alaska

Description: Based on recent research (6.6.A11), this session will explore trends in teacher, principal, and superintendent turnover in Alaska; the extent to which educator, school, district, and community characteristics are related to turnover; and the relationship between superintendent, principal, and teacher turnover. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss results in small groups, learn about district strategies for educator recruitment and retention, and plan how to use this information in their own work.

Audience: Conference participants who are interested in educator recruitment and retention issues in Alaska are encouraged to attend.
