REL Mid-Atlantic Event: Resources to Help Improve Attendance in the Early Grades

Description: The webinar will seek to motivate district and school leaders to (1) share available resources with their networks, (2) collect and use data to understand absenteeism in the early grades, (3) identify and implement evidence-based strategies to reduce chronic absenteeism, and (4) rigorously assess the effectiveness of the intervention or interventions they employ.

Partnership or Research Alliance: Strengthening the early education continuum

Audience: The webinar’s target audience includes early childhood education stakeholders, including school and district leaders, educators and other school staff, private prekindergarten providers in community-based settings, and state and local agency staff responsible for improving absenteeism.
