REL Southwest Event: Training for English Learner Program Checklist Enhancement Implementation

Description: REL Southwest is providing training to staff from three New Mexico district teams to increase understanding of research-based promising and effective practices for English learner students and apply continuous improvement principles and tools for implementing those practices in a cycle of inquiry to strengthen teaching and learning for English learner students. This is the last session in the training series. The district teams will share the results of their Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) and learn about how PDSA cycles can facilitate systems learning, especially during times of uncertainty and about data collection routines to help measure effectiveness of a change idea.

Research Alliance: Southwest English Learners Research Partnership

Audience: English learner program and district leaders, administrators, English learner coaches, and teachers from three New Mexico districts are participating in the training.
