The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Research Network at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), with a grant from IES NCER, is providing support for the Summer 2020 CTE Research Training Institute. The CTE Research Training Institute will build the capacity of researchers to plan and conduct high-quality impact studies of CTE programs, practices, and policies. Participants will learn from experienced CTE researchers and experts in research methodology. Topics will include CTE research exemplars, lectures on causal research designs in the context of typical CTE programs, and data labs for participants to apply the statistical concepts presented.
