Description: |
The National Teacher and Principal Survey (NTPS) collects descriptive data on the context of public and private elementary and secondary education, from the perspectives of public and private teachers and administrators, through a series of questionnaires. Key metrics provided in the NTPS data include teacher and principal demographics, workloads and class size, educational background and training, job satisfaction and ratings of school climate, salary and supplementary income, and principal and teacher turnover.
This webinar will provide a briefing from NCES statisticians on the newest NTPS data that was collected during the 2020-21 school year, including data revealing how schools first adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic during the spring of 2020, along with data on how COVID-19 affected school instruction over the course of the data collection period. This data is scheduled to be publicly released on December 13, 2022. |
