Wai-Ying Chow
Wai-Ying Chow recently joined the National Center for Education Research (NCER) as the program officer in charge of the Effective Teachers & Effective Teaching Research Program. Prior to joining IES, Chow was a research faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she worked with practitioners and policymakers in the state child welfare and mental health systems to evaluate state-funded interventions. A native Washingtonian and DC Public Schools graduate, Wai will provide technical assistance to grant applicants and monitor grant-funded research projects under the Effective Teachers & Effective Teaching topic.
