NAEP Database Training – Applications Due November 30

On January 10–13, 2011 in Washington, DC, NCES is sponsoring an advanced studies seminar on the use of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) database for education research and policy analysis. There are no fees to attend the seminar. Applications are due November 30 and selected candidates will be notified by December 7.

2011 Management Information Systems (MIS) Conference

Join your colleagues who work with information collection, management, transmittal, and reporting in school districts and state education agencies at the annual MIS conference on February 23–25 in Austin, TX. Co-sponsored by the National Center for Education Statistics and the Texas Department of Education, the 2011 MIS Conference will offer sessions on best practices, innovative ideas, and current issues that concern school district and state education agency data managers.
