IES Solicits Proposals for National Research and Development Centers

IES has announced competition for four national education research and development centers:

Award Amounts: $1,000,000 to $2,000,0000 per year for 5 years.
Proposal Deadline: November 10, 2005.

Reminder! Regional Educational Lab Proposals Due October 3

On July 15, the U.S. Department of Education announced competition for the establishment of 10 Regional Educational Laboratories, one for each geographical region of the United States. The primary mission of the laboratories is to serve the educational needs of the regions, using research, development, dissemination, and training and technical assistance, to bring the latest and best research and proven practices into school improvement efforts.
