  • Data Products From the Preschool Curriculum Evaluation Research (PCER) Pilot Year Study

    The National Center for Education Research (NCER) has released a CD-ROM that contains documentation, an electronic codebook, and restricted-use data files for the fall 2002 and spring 2003 waves of data collection for the Preschool Curriculum Evaluation Research Pilot Year study. Data from direct child assessments, parent interviews, teacher report on child behavior, preschool teacher interviews, and classroom observations are provided in ASCII format. These CD-ROMs are only available to holders of restricted-use data licenses. Researchers interested in obtaining a copy of the PCER Pilot Year data CD-ROM should contact the IES Data Security Office (IESData.Security@ed.gov OR go to http://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/licenses.asp).     The National Center for Education Research (NCER) has released a CD-ROM that contains documentation, an electronic codebook, and restricted-use data files for the baseline pre-kindergarten year (Fall 2003), pre-kindergarten follow-up (spring 2004), and the kindergarten follow-up (Spring 2005) waves of data collection for the Preschool Curriculum Evaluation Research Multi-Program Evaluation study. Data from direct child assessments, parent interviews, teacher report on child behavior, preschool teacher interviews, kindergarten teacher surveys, and classroom observations (preschool year only) are provided in ASCII format. These CD-ROMs are only available to holders of restricted-use data licenses.
