Description: Professional learning communities (PLCs) encourage cooperation, collaboration, and growth among adult learners and play a positive role in student achievement. This free webinar, part of REL Mid-Atlantic's 2016 Educator Effectiveness Webinar Series, will explore ways to create and sustain PLCs where members can engage in a cycle of continuous improvement, develop collective responsibility, and align their work to educator and student learning goals.

Participants will learn specific strategies to ensure that they build student-focused PLCs.

Through the use of polls and chats, participants will be encouraged to ask questions and share insights.

Audience: The webinar is intended for principals, teachers, state and local education agency administrators, and researchers.
