This What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) webinar covers how the current WWC Procedures and Standards Handbook can be applied to postsecondary research. The presenters—Will Doyle from Vanderbilt University, Jeff Valentine from the University of Louisville, and Chris Weiss from the Institute of Education Sciences—discuss research designs that have the potential to meet WWC standards and how the WWC determines study ratings. The discussion articulates how certain aspects of a study, such as attrition, group comparability, and outcome measurements, can impact the WWC’s rating of a study.
