The goal of the webinar is to build capacity of local and state leaders, as well as administrators from higher education, to address teacher shortages via district–university partnerships. This webinar will increase participants’ knowledge of a diverse set of approaches underway, beginning with a broad overview of the data demonstrating the growing gap in teacher supply and demand in the mid-Atlantic region. It will describe four existing district–university partnerships in the region and discuss lessons learned to date.
