Sharon Koon, Ph.D., is senior research associate at the Florida Center for Reading Research at Florida State University, where she uses applied statistics and psychometrics in studying educational issues. Prior to joining the Center, she served as the director of Florida's large-scale student and educator assessments at the Florida Department of Education. Dr. Koon earned her doctoral degree in measurement and statistics from Florida State University.
