Amanda Hoffman

Amanda Hoffman recently joined NCSER as a research scientist. She will provide technical assistance to grant applicants and oversee the work of grantees in the areas of Transition Outcomes for Special Education Secondary Students and Special Education Policy, Finance, and Systems. Amanda comes to NCSER from WestEd, where she was a policy and evaluation associate in the evaluation division. Her previous research has focused on academic coursework for youth with disabilities and transitioning on to higher education. Amanda received her doctorate in special education public policy from the University of Maryland, where she studied transition outcomes and secondary data analyses using large-scale databases.
