Improving Postsecondary Transitions Partnership
Stakeholders across Kentucky and Virginia are interested in strategies that encourage and support students' successful transition from high school to postsecondary education programs and careers, particularly for rural students and other historically underserved populations. REL AP is working with a core group of state leaders in Virginia and local partners in eastern Kentucky to fill knowledge and information gaps and provide support to help the policymakers and practitioners use evidence to strengthen students' transition to college and careers.
- Promote the success of traditionally underserved students in postsecondary education and careers by:
- identifying, developing, and supporting use of practices that strengthen high school graduates' transition to college and careers,
- supporting stakeholders in examining and evaluating new and innovative strategies to support postsecondary transition, and
- answering regionally relevant research questions about credentialing practices.
