Friday, November 22, 2019

Time: 8:00 a.m.–9:30 a.m. Eastern Time

Location:
2019 National Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference
Music City Center, Room 106A
3201 5th Ave. S.
Nashville, TN 37203

Description:

This interactive session shares a number of resources produced by the 10 Regional Educational Laboratories (RELs) throughout the country. The goal of the RELs, funded by the Institute of Education Sciences in the U.S. Department of Education, is to bridge the gap from research to practice through increasing the use of research and evidence, enhancing education programs, and ultimately improving student performance. Staff from RELs across the nation highlight practice guides, webinars, infographics, videos, and reports pertaining to evidence-based practices in early childhood. Participants have the opportunity to peruse the resources in small groups and discuss how they have been used and their potential uses. Participants also can ask questions and make connections with REL staff in their region.

Partnership: Midwest Early Childhood Education Research Alliance
