Description:
REL Midwest and the Illinois State Board of Education are offering a workshop on research-driven best practices for conducting Kindergarten Individual Development Survey (KIDS) observations. Designed for kindergarten teachers and administrators, it focuses on practical strategies, tools, and resources to incorporate KIDS observations into daily instruction. The goal of the workshop is to help teachers and administrators:
- Learn how to incorporate observations into daily instruction;
- Deepen knowledge of KIDS and developmental observations;
- Receive strategies on collecting meaningful, high-quality KIDS evidence to drive instruction; and
- Practice KIDS observations using examples.
