Tuesday, June 19, 2018

Time: 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. Central Time

Location: Virtual

This webinar highlights strategies that researchers can employ to support evidence use by state and local education agency staff. Presenters discuss barriers that may prevent education practitioners from using evidence-based practices and share actionable strategies that researchers and other stakeholders can use to increase evidence use. The webinar also features a panel discussion about Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest’s evidence-based intervention clearinghouse resources and coaching sessions, which were developed to encourage research use in state-level practice, particularly to help school districts in identifying practices that meet Every Student Succeeds Act evidence standards.
